Maitê Ortega
I am a surfer with a passion for the ocean and marine sciences—particularly nautical activities, scuba diving, and sailing. I began my journey as a surf instructor for a social project in 2005 and remain dedicated to transforming lives through surfing.
With over 20 years of experience in maritime activities, I am constantly learning and evolving. My goal is to provide an experience that combines technical knowledge with emotional insight, enabling people to enjoy the sport safely and joyfully. I specialize in introductory surf training, therapeutic surfing, and guiding individuals through their fears and traumas related to the ocean.
My work integrates practical experience with a solid technical foundation, drawing on my background as a surf instructor, sports psychologist, scuba diving instructor, deckhand, and recreational boat skipper.
